Description
CREATIVE WRITING students will improve their skills as writers by completing units on short stories, poetry, and drama. As you write, you will be asked to share your material with other students in the class, and use feedback from others to aid you in revision and review of your work. The course will culminate in the submission of an original portfolio, featuring works in a number of different writing styles and forms. In addition to writing, you will be asked to read and respond to assignments completed by your fellow students; by posting and responding to each others’ work, you will create a virtual “writing circle,” getting and giving constructive criticism to each other on your writing assignments.
