Open courseware is educational material available online which is free and “open” to anyone. At some sites, an entire course is available including lessons, practice assignments, homework, and assessments.

HippoCampus
Offers free courseware in the following subjects: Algebra, American Government, Biology, Calculus, Environment Science, Physics, Psychology, Religion, and U.S. History.

Online Learning Initiative
Offers free courseware in the following high school subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Economics, French, and Physics.

MIT Open Courseware
Offers material for 1,800 high school and college courses so the possibilities are endless. There are online science experiments, labs, etc.

NROC
Provides online course material for various subjects, including homework assignments, quizzes, etc.
